Impact Leadership College exists for leaders who feel called to ministry and leaders who want to be equipped in ministry. ILC is a unique educational initiative that combines the rigorous academic standards of Southeastern University with the dynamic, faith-driven environment of Impact Church. Our mission is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and spiritual foundation needed to become influential leaders in their ministerial calling.

What Can I Study?

The Associate of Arts (AA) degree includes the core learning components and competencies commonly accepted as foundational for a four-year baccalaureate degree by many colleges and universities. The AA degree is designed for students who desire recognition for completing the two-year prescribed curriculum. Because many bachelor’s degrees require specific prerequisites, students should verify how their AA degree and classes transfer into the intended degree. Graduates with the Associate of Arts degree will be able to:
Demonstrate basic knowledge of the biblical basis of Christian theology, the history of Christian traditions, and the various expressions of global Christianity.
Articulate a biblically-based statement of Christian identity as it relates to theology, ethics, habits and practices, and vocation.
Apply critical consideration of ethical principles and actions to their lived experiences as Christians.
Demonstrate intellectual and practical fluency in the stewardship of God’s creation, including their own health & wellness, personal & family finances, civic engagement, and the environment.
Engage with diverse populations and belief systems.
Demonstrate the ability to reason and develop evidence-based decisions using numerical information and to use relevant mathematical and logical methods to analyze and solve problems effectively.
Demonstrate information literacy and critical thinking by locating and evaluating information that assists them in examining ideas and evidence before formulating an opinion or conclusion.
Demonstrate effective written and oral communication with and response to varied audiences.

The extension site Associate of Ministerial Leadership degree program prepares students for ministry leadership—in local churches, faith-based non-profit organizations, and other ministry contexts—through an interdisciplinary curriculum of courses in foundational core (i.e., English, psychology, math, science, etc.), Bible, theology, ministry, and ministry practicum. Students who complete this degree program will be able to:
Properly use hermeneutical tools to exegete and apply the Bible in ministry contexts
Analyze and apply basic Christian theology in ministry contexts
Construct and present expository sermons in ministry contexts
Integrate their biblical interpretation, theological, leadership, and Christian ministry competencies in ministry contexts
Students who complete the degree program satisfies the educational requirements for Assemblies of God ministerial credentials. All courses are transferrable into the Bachelor of Science in Ministerial Leadership program.

The final 18 hours of the major core focuses on the advanced study, interpretation, and application of the Bible in ministry contexts. Students who complete this degree program will be able to:

The final 18 hours of the major core focuses on key pastoral competencies: sharing the Christian faith, preaching, church leadership, spiritual formation, and pastoral care. Students who complete this degree program will be able to:

The final 18 hours of the major core is an interdisciplinary study in psychology, counseling, and pastoral care. Students who complete this degree program will be able to:

Apply planning, team, financial leadership skills in ministry contexts

The extension site Bachelor of Science in Ministerial Leadership – Worship Ministries track degree program prepares students for ministry leadership—in local churches, faith-based non-profit organizations, and other ministry contexts—through an interdisciplinary curriculum of courses in foundational core (i.e., English, psychology, math, science, etc.), Bible, theology, ministry, and ministry practicum. The final 18 hours of the BSMLW focuses on preparing students to serve as worship pastors through studies in music theory, worship leadership, music composition, sound production, and music performance. Students who complete this degree program will be able to:

Analyze and apply basic Christian theology in ministry contexts
Apply planning, team, financial leadership skills in ministry contexts
Use basic music theory and aural theory in the context of worship ministry

The Bachelor of Science in Ministerial Leadership – Humanitarian Ministry track degree program prepares students for ministry leadership—in local churches, faith-based non-profit organizations, and other ministry contexts—through an interdisciplinary curriculum of courses in foundational core (i.e., English, psychology, math, science, etc.), Bible, theology, ministry, and ministry practicum. The final 18 hours of the major core focus on key competencies for humanitarian/compassion ministry leadership in domestic contexts: a practical theology of compassion ministry, understanding populations who are being impacted by disaster/poverty, effectively utilizing professional mental health resources in the context of crisis, and advocating for the poor/suffering through effective interactions with governmental decision-makers. Students who complete this degree program will be able to:

Construct strategic plans for humanitarian/compassion work in various contexts

The Bachelor of Science in Ministerial Leadership – Missional Leadership track degree program prepares students for ministry leadership—in local churches, faith-based non-profit organizations, and other ministry contexts—through an interdisciplinary curriculum of courses in foundational core (i.e., English, psychology, math, science, etc.), Bible, theology, ministry, and ministry practicum. The final 18 hours of the major core focuses on global, entrepreneurial, strategic, and innovative missional leadership skills that can be applied in a variety of missional contexts (i.e., global non-profit organizations, missionary ministry, local church ministry, etc.).
This degree program allows students the flexibility of completing program requirements through a combination main campus, online, and/or partner site courses. In order to create a global learning experience and connect students learning in a variety of contexts, the Missional Leadership courses (MISS 3013, MISS 3023, MISS 3033, MISS 3043, MISS 3053, MISS 3063) are only taught as online courses.

Program Description
The Digital Media & Design program emphasizes the principles and best practices of digital media and digital design. The digital media core focuses on visual communication and digital marketing. The digital design core includes various courses related to color theory, typography, digital art and design, web development, and digital illustration. Students also select a digital media and design elective (including a study abroad opportunity). Students critically analyze and produce various digital designs, including websites, logos, photography projects, UI/UX design projects, and digital illustrations.

Potential career options for those pursuing this degree include graphic designer, digital designer, UI/UX designer, digital content writer, web designer, photo retouching specialist, creative director, art director, layout designer, digital marketer, advertising designer, digital illustrator, and other digital design-related careers.
